About Me

picJennifer Wyzykowski
BFA - Parson's School of Design
MFA - Western Connecticut State University

I have been teaching in Region 10 for about ten years. I received my undergraduate degree (BFA) from Parson's School of Design in New York. I then went on to be a graphic designer and art director. My latest job before teaching was art director for White Flower Farm in Litchfield, designing their catalogs.

I am a freelance designer and illustrator now as well as an art teacher. I have had my artwork published in such places as The New York Times and The Chicago Tribune.

I recieved my Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree in Illustration from Western Connecticut State University. I then went on to write, illustrate and self publish a children's book called "Phoebe and the Moon."

I live in Harwinton with my
husband, two children, and two adopted dogs. I have taught Art at all four schools in Region 10, but I am now teaching at the high school. I love teaching Art and watching students grow as artists and people. I try to create a safe, creative place for students to learn and express themselves. The door to the judgement free zone is always open!
